In my journey through the intricate world of Feng Shui, I encountered a poignant tale that etched itself into my memory—a tale of loss and warning, hidden within the subtle nuances of home alignment.

My next client, a renowned wine connoisseur and writer, welcomed me into her elegant home situated just off Sandton Drive in Johannesburg, South Africa. As I entered, I couldn’t help but admire the beauty of the surroundings, yet my trained eye caught sight of something amiss—a road intersecting the southeast corner of her south-facing abode.

Instantly, a shiver ran down my spine, for I knew the implications of this unsettling alignment. The road’s intrusion upon the southeast corner spelled tragedy—a fate that struck with merciless precision.

Summoning my courage, I broached the subject with my client, prepared for her disbelief. But the shock and denial that met my words only reinforced the gravity of the situation. It was a reaction I had encountered before—a testament to the discomforting truths hidden within Feng Shui’s ancient wisdom.  My client had lost her first born daughter. 

Leaving my assessment behind, I departed, yet the weight of the encounter lingered. Two days later, my client’s summons confirmed my fears—the silent killer had claimed its victim, a few years prior, she was only 4 years old.

For me, this wasn’t merely a matter of observation; it was a quest to confront the shadows that lurked within the corners of existence. With each consultation, I sought to shine a light on the unseen forces that shaped our destinies, offering guidance and solace in equal measure.

As I left her home, my mission remained unfinished, but my resolve unbroken. For in the realm of Feng Shui, the signs are clear, and it is through understanding their language that we can navigate the turbulent waters of fate.
