We all dream of a Family home with the white picket fence in a quiet neighbourhood with good schools. We dream of Family Bliss where our Family can live, love and be happy. Sadly not all dreams of a blissful life in a home come true.
Have you ever noticed a certain house in the neighbourhood that has families moving in and out and never seem to stay long. Or that house where the Family was Financially stable when moving in and then 6 months later are on the brink of Bankruptcy or Divorce.
Can a home have a negative effect on you and your Family? My answer to that is YES!
According to the Feng Shui Practice of Time and Space, a building has a life span of 20yrs, commencing from the day construction first starts.
Allow me to share with you a short story of what happened a few years back.
I friend gave me a call, She was looking to purchase a new property in Athens.
So naturally I go and have a look at the property with her. On arrival I notice that the property is on a T-Junction, never a good sign I should have said no, just based on that. I do my audit of the land and my calculations and after some checking and double checking, I had to tell her that the property was not good for her. Why? She cried! She really had her heart set on this property. I had to tell her, why? The previous owner I said, died by some force of metal, and the lady of the house had some sort of Mental breakdown. She looked at me in disbelieve. So I told her, if you can prove me wrong then by all means buy the property. My friend being on a mission to do just that, looked into the history of the property. She asked neighbours, the Realtor and also did a little research at the deeds office.
About a week or so later she got back to me. So it turns out, the previous owner of the house was a Judge, and he was in court when he was shot dead. The owners wife had in fact had a mental breakdown. My friend did not buy the property, and I ended up finding her a much better property where her and her family are now living and are doing really well for themselves.
So the expression a” house is a house”, is so not true! It is so much more than that, it is the life force, its the energy that feeds the home that holds importance.
